Welcome!
This is not a strict limitation to what an IGA may perform, since we're always looking for those willing to go the extra mile. If you are looking to join this staff position, please read the following to understand what you will be contributing to the community.
In-Game Administrators Contributions:
In-Game Administrator(s)' Overview - All IGA are here to keep our games Legit, GM, Friendly, Inviting, and Clean!
1.) Welcome/Greet Guests/Members - IGA should be greeting guests and members to the games of D2 Sanctuary. A lot of the guests are usually hackers, sometimes brand new to PvP/Legit, and very-much foreign to the English Language.
2.) Direct Guests - IGA should be directing pleased guests to the forums "www.D2Sanctuary.net", so they can continue interacting with our community.
3.) BM Control - IGA is the first line of defense, however, we are not supposed to push away, we are to invite and sell our guests and members that our GM community is a great place to be a part of! First and foremost, we as STAFF use our Administrative powers as a last resort. Deescalate any issues via warrants of rule violations, alternative behavioral application, and or, believe it or not, asking nicely to cease and desist often works (Being polite/cordial is expected). If all fails, then proceed to inform an OSO via a report with template supplied to you. Await for further instructions from the OSO.
4.) Screening - Screening is to "#Info @" a player within a game to inspect their character's Stats, Skills, and File size. This should be done per join; this goes for staff as well. This is to help ensure our players that we are on-top of the security basics, and will put forth the effort to keep our games safe and clean.
5.) Member/Hacker IP Logging - All IGA are expected to keep a personal log of IP Addresses of members, whether it be by paper or digitally. This is required to ensure our ability to identify our members upon arrival. By no means neglect hackers, as they will change their IP address quite frequently (keeping a history of their character names will help for faster hacker-identification).
6.) Reporting - All discrepancies (Level 3-5) within game(s) need to be reported to an OSO. All reports will be formatted via template handed out. All Reports will be delivered with a PM (Private Message), until we have a Staff Only Board made for us to archive these reports.
